About Me
I am a writer, copyreader, and former Managing Editor with a strong foundation in student journalism and a passion for purposeful storytelling. My experience with The Brahmans Journal at the University of Batangas–Lipa City has shaped not only my technical skills, but also my commitment to producing work that is both meaningful and impactful.
As Managing Editor for two years, I led the editorial team in overseeing content development, layout execution, and publication timelines. Beyond managing workflows, I mentored writers, photographers, and layout artists—guiding them in refining their craft and maintaining high editorial standards. Through strategic improvements in content and design, I contributed to enhancing both the quality of publications and audience engagement.
Prior to this role, I spent three years as a student journalist, taking on diverse responsibilities that strengthened my versatility. I worked as a copyreader, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency across articles; as a layout artist, designing cohesive print and digital spreads; as a writer, covering news, features, and opinion pieces; and as a photojournalist, capturing visuals that complemented and elevated each story.
These experiences have shaped me into a detail-oriented and adaptable communicator—someone who values both creativity and precision. Whether writing, editing, or designing, I approach every piece with intention, always aiming to inform, connect, and leave a lasting impression.
“You can make anything by writing.”
